I cannot explain how thankful we are for you in our lives. You & Isla have made my life, that's for sure. I will never be able to thank you enough for making us a family. We love you, from the very bottom of our hearts to the ends of the Earth. Warning: I make no apologies for the length of this blog post: this couple, this location, this light, their gorgeous daughter made it nearly impossible to narrow down my favorites, so we're just going to share a TON! I am so happy for these two and beyond excited to photograph their Wilmington wedding this fall!

With only one other wedding under my belt at the time, that thrill of being asked to photograph a wedding steps up a few notches when it's a person you know and think the world of, watching a friend surrounded by so much love and happiness... it's amazing, really! Ali & Joe, thank you for including us on your wedding day at Wilmington's River Room, it was fantastic! 

One of my favorite St. James Plantation weddings to date with an absolutely beautiful couple inside and out, surrounded by adoring friends & family members, so much laughter and fun and the most joyous vibe in the air... this was a wedding to remember, folks! Now throw in three sets of twins to include both the bride AND the groom, a ton of super sweet DIY details, dueling pianists & a surprise "Top Gun"-esque serenade from the groom and his groomsmen to his bride! 

Summer days are here again! This year, our little kiddo is such a FUN age and luckily, she still tolerates the impromptu photo shoot from Mom! Thought I'd share a few of my current faves of this little darlin': Pokey, Chi Chi, Honeybuns, Honey Bunny, Babycakes or as she's sometimes called, Isla.

Welllll... seeing as it has been two years since their BEAUTIFUL wedding and I have yet to post it (GASP...how did I miss that one??? Oh wait. I had a baby, lol), I am going to have to revisit that on the blog sooner than later! But for now, let's work our way from the present backwards and begin with this stunning maternity session on Oak Island & St. James for Vanessa & AJ!

When I featured a Valentine's Day Mini Giveaway this year for the first time, I was really excited to see so many past clients participate in the hopes of winning the shoot.  I couldn't have been happier when the Bagwell family won the giveaway in our drawing! We were due for a family session with their little one, Liam and I loved heading out to Hanover Stables in Castle Hayne, NC for our family photo shoot!
